Chuck's Corner
Edgy, fun and stacked high with eye candy, Chuck’s Corner is the world’s best-known school weblog. The brainchild of our Communication Director, this “reality-web” site changes every other day, featuring more than a dozen fresh photos of students and teachers doing their thing. Chuck’s pictures are not perfect; (that’s what you find on an admission site!) Students are seen being teenagers, and the text usually explores the ironies and surprises of life at a boarding school. Check it out, and join in the conversation by posting a comment or two!
Admissions
Designed specifically for new comers to Proctor, the admission site offers key info, charmingly attractive text, and plenty of pictures of students smiling while working hard…everything you’d expect from an admission brochure! Enjoy this introductory tour of experiential education at its best, and take advantage of links to explore programs in detail. When you’re finished, visit Chuck’s Corner to see what’s happening right now!
A to Z
Inspired by Wiki, Proctor A to Z is a growing encyclopedia of information on Proctor. Check it out for detailed answers to your questions on programs, systems and services.
Let’s take an example. Say you want to learn about the drama/theater program……
Campus Map
Proctor is committed to the notion that people learn differently. For you visual types, try this campus tour that introduces you to little-known facts regarding the history of Proctor dorms, academic buildings, athletic facilities and playing fields. Just drag your cursor across the map, and enjoy!
My Proctor
For Proctor students, this portal provides access to your personal website, with your schedule, assignments and a whole array of other valuable information. Parents, too have their own sites here, through which they track everything from their child’s attendance to the latest comments written by classroom teachers. Alumni/ae post class notes here, announce milestones (wedding photos, etc.,) and professionally network with one another. There’s an old saying at Proctor: attitude is everything. Well, if communication is everything, this is where much of it happens!
